About Luis Stein

Startup Advisor & Investor, Innovation & Technology Enabler and Business Developer For 35 years I have been a Hi-tech entrepreneur, developed technology-intensive Latin American businesses and over the last 5 years strongly focused on innovation. As Startup Advisor I help to accelerate growth & innovation by fostering collaboration between Startups and Corporations Contributing to Latinamerica´s growing innovation ecosystem is a great motivator! In the past I was a director for NXTP and Co-founded ImagineLab, a tech-focused accelerator in Santiago and Microsoft´s Innovation Center in Chile, developing "Startup Driven Innovation" in a number of Chilean businesses. I did extensive work developing the tech ecosystem in Latin America as a member of the Board of Directors of the World IT and Services Alliance (WITSA), Vice President of the Ibero-American ICT Federation (Aleti) and President of Chiletec, and as a public policy influencer, I developed the first National Innovation Deep Dive to create a "bottom-up" digital strategy for the country in 2011 and organized the first Latin American Innovation Summit in 2013. I am committed to a vision of growth through Innovation and Hi-tech entrepreneurship throughout Latin America with a doctrine combining best global practices with local expertise and culture.
