Welcome and thank you so much for taking some time to read my LinkedIn profile. My name is Luis. Born and raised in Mexico City with a strong passion for Japanese Culture and the Video Game Industry, I am currently serving as TechPM for the Core Engineering Team in Fast Retailing. I have a mixed background, consisting of programming and IT consulting on one side, with project management, product management, and team management on the other side. This allows me to understand both the developers and the business units, serving as a bridge to align IT services to the organization’s goals, while managing stakeholders’ expectations and keeping developers motivated and engaged. I am convinced that people are the most valuable asset of any organization and I enjoy listening, giving feedback, and helping others in overall. Also, I am a very organized person and like to reflect that in my work style, proactively improving processes that can positively impact the team and the organization. Finally, I am not afraid of questioning the status quo, creatively exploring new ways of doing things and getting out of the comfort zone. I believe in serendipitous encounters.
