About Luisa Dolce

I am very passionate about sustainability and finding strategic solutions for clients in the private and public sector, both in UK and internationally. A chartered architect and licensed BREEAM and CSH Assessor, as well as BREEAM Advisory Professional (AP) and WELL AP, I have 25 years of experience in the industry and more than 20 years specifically in sustainable design. I have been leading BREEAM / Sustainability teams and being responsible for Sustainability consultancy and Green Certifications, including BREEAM, WELL, LEED etc. for a variety of projects in different sectors, from commercial, to Residential, Hotel and Leisure, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education and Infrastructure, to name some. As part of Business Development, I have introduced new line of services with Circular economy statements and additional specialist reports such as material efficiency, disassembly and adaptability etc. An existing line of service, Life Carbon Emissions originally carried out for BREEAM Mat 01, has been extended with the use of One Click software to incorporate the carbon emissions calculaitons in compliance with GLA requirements for planning, but also for other Green Certifications such as Green Star, in comparison with LETI benchmarks and for other studies requested by private clients or developers. WLCA studies covers all RICS Modules from Module A Construction (A1-A5) To Module B Use and Maintenance (B1-B7) to Module C End of Life (C1-C3) to Module D with sequestration. The use of LCA Carbon Design has facilitated the strategy at early stages comparing options with different structures and guiding the Design Team to make better informed decisions based also on the environmental impact. I have been involved in bids for new projects, define scope and fees and being responsible for team resources, managing projects deadlines and costs and other financial aspects. Relationships with clients have been strengthened with collaboration, presentations and networking, supporting their goals and aspirations including ESG Goals and UN SDGs in many different ways, for example using BREEAM In Use Assessments The recent international experience for a new Metro Network in Tel Aviv and suburbs, includes a consultancy at a Pre-development Stage. The deliverables include Sustainability and Environment Strategy and plan, ESMS and Social Value Plan. Input is provided for KPIs, BREEAM Infrastructure recommendation and comparison of other Green Certifications, Life Carbon emissions and Circular Economy overview.
