About Luisa Valente

I am the kind of person that puts 110% into everything I do. I always try to give my best to every person I meet. Whether that be my best friend or a random stranger asking me for help with something. I try to give it my all. From a very young age I loved books. They were a way for me to escape from my ordinary life to an extraordinary world. I was able to go to countries I never thought I would be able to visit or time travel to different eras. They also opened up the world of writing for me. I love to express myself with words and to create stories similar to the ones I love to read. This kind of passion and love for English is the kind I want to help my students develop throughout the years that they are in school. I am a person that is passionate about teaching students that reading and writing is more than just reading and writing. I want to become teacher to help them realize that reading can take you to countries you have never gone to and magical lands that you could only go to in your dreams. I want to teach students that writing is more than just grammar and format. It is about putting your thoughts and your opinions on the page.
