About Luiz Lopes

Software Developer with over 3 years of experience in the IT industry working with a lot of technologies. I started my career as a Front-end developer, using Angular (8v) for a short time for an assurance company project. After three months, I started to help the backend team to implement a Java/Spring API using Apache Kafka and Oracle database. After this project, I got a chance to learn more about API migration, and I contributed to migrating APIs from a retailer company from IBM Connect to Apigee Google. In the same year, I participated in another project and helped my team to implement and configure the SAP PI/PO. Another project that I helped to start the integration development, was for a health insurance company in Brazil. We used Mulesoft and I got the Mulesoft Developer Certification Level 1. Nowadays, I work mostly as a back-end developer. The last client that I contributed to, was a great bank in Brazil and I helped the team to create new features and fix some bugs using the microservice's architecture. Some skills that I learned were RabbitMQ, OracleDB, PostgreSQL, AWS S3, Spring Cloud, and Spring Data JPA. Now, I'm getting into a new project, for an American Bank, working with an international team, and helping to implement new features, fix bugs, and much more. Other experiences and skills that I think it's important to mention are- I worked, and I know how to work with Agile teams, following the best practices- Create software and product documentation when needed it- Version control using Git, and the Git flow approach- CI/CD using Jenkins and GitLab- Jira, Monday, and Click Up platforms experience- Docker and Kubernetes- JUnit 5- JavaScript- Java 8, 11, and 17. Besides work, I love to learn new things, new technologies, new approaches, and how to be a better dev. I know to work in a group and I have good communication abilities. I am learning more about the Software Development Full Cycle and how to design better software.
