About Luka Bac

I love fixing things - seeing people smile when their seemingly insurmountable problems are resolved is a wonderful thing. Naively, it has always been a passion of mine to make things work in "the best possible way", which has lead me to focus on the operating system, virtualization and containerization - all of which inevitably leads to automation and orchestration. However,"the best possible way" has many interpretations, thus working in an interdisciplinary DevOps team is always an enlightening experience, since everyone brings their own area of expertise to the problem, which contributes to solving the problem in "the best possible way". And we all learn something new! As a Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration and a Red Hat Certified Engineer, I focus on designing and implementing a stable platform for developing and running applications, be it provisioning (virtual) servers with managed configuration, setting up scalable storage, providing monitoring and databases - all of which culminates in setting up a container orchestration cluster like OpenShift Container Platform with CI/CD, then administering and creating the infrastructural container images required by the process. Of course, that is just my area of expertise - I love to learn other technologies, tools and languages that help me solve problems better or faster.
