With 26 years of experience in biology research, my career spans public and private institutions, small startups, and global companies, covering diverse fields such as agricultural research, infectious diseases, contract research organisations, and the pharmaceutical industry. I have a comprehensive understanding of how research institutions operate, the technologies they employ, and gained extensive knowledge in biomedical research. Over the last 11 years at Roche, I have been instrumental in driving the digital transformation within Roche Pharma Biologics research Therapeutic Modalities division. I play a pivotal role in strategic investment decisions in the research IT and laboratory automation space sponsoring and fostering promising ideas with direct impact on R&D productivity. I effectively manage key stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and building trust-based relationships across various Roche business units and global Roche research sites. I am also an experienced project leader, driving multiple projects in the automation, process optimisation and IT space. Overall, my contributions have led to significant improvements in the Roche Pharma Research processes and research IT systems on all levels.
