I'm an enthusiastic learner and avid reader about technology and leadership principles. I aim to find what makes every associate a unique genius, build upon their strengths and grow by stretching themselves to reach new heights. In my role as a manager, I think it's critical to facilitate debates - ensuring everybody has a voice at the table - to come to the best solution. In doing so, gaining buy-in and helping my associates execute against their defined strategy. My socratic approach also helps clarify priorities so associates can operate with autonomy and ownership. I work with every associate as an individual, focus on their career goals and help clarify how business opportunities match their goals. I'm familiar with DiSC and Tilt365 personality models and tailor my approach to uniquely match each associate. In October 2022, I attended and completed the Effective Communicator Conference held by the Manager Tools consultancy firm. Several of the most impactful books on leadership and communication I've read include- Multipliers by Liz Wiseman - Extreme Ownership By Jocko Willink and Leif Babin - The Obstacle Is The Way by Ryan Holiday - Never Split The Difference by Chris Voss - Becoming A Manager by Linda A Hill - The Effective Manager by Mark Horstman In my spare time I enjoy BBQ, Golf, Resistance Training and Running.
