About Lukas Dr. Repa
After graduating from law school in Austria and obtaining a Master in European Laws in Brugge, Belgium, I have worked as associate in Austrian law firms and as a clerk at the European Court of Justice as well as the Austrian Supreme Court. In 2004, I joined the European civil service where I work as official in the European Commission. I had the privilege to serve in different challenging positions, in competition policy for finance, telecoms and media; in energy policy for gas and electricity; and more recently in digital innovation (start-ups, distributed ledger technologies, digital euro). From 2018 to 2019, I conducted research on AI, blockchain and FinTech at the University of California in Berkeley, USA.
