About Lukas Haaglund

My life has been shaped by dedication, resilience, and a deep commitment to service. As a retired U.S. Army decorated combat veteran, I served my country from 2002 to 2019 in various roles, including as an M1 Armor Crewman, Scout, Paratrooper, and Army Recruiter. In my recruiting role, I took pride in mentoring and guiding future soldiers, helping them embark on successful military careers. Throughout my service, I was responsible for leading soldiers in high-risk environments, ensuring their safety and success with zero fatalities under my command. My experiences tested my abilities in combat and leadership, but also allowed me to serve as a Master Resiliency Trainer and an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Trainer, helping my fellow soldiers navigate the challenges they faced. One of the greatest honors in my life is sharing a bond with my wife, who is also a retired military veteran. Together, we’ve supported each other through the highs and lows of military life, knowing firsthand the sacrifices and rewards that come with serving our country. Our shared experiences have strengthened our relationship and helped build a foundation of mutual respect, strength, and love. After my military career, I transitioned into the civilian world, working in security and logistics. My time at Tempur Sealy allowed me to put my skills to use in a new way, from managing complex logistics processes to working with third-party providers and negotiating deals that benefited the company. I’ve always prided myself on my ability to analyze patterns, identify needs, and streamline operations for better outcomes. At the heart of everything I do is my family. I’m a proud husband and father to three incredible girls who bring so much joy and purpose to my life. Outside of work, I’m a die-hard Dodgers fan with a passion fot golf and love traveling, always looking for new experiences to share with my family
