About Lukas Sparer

I recently completed my master’s degree in technical Physics at the TU Vienna with a specialization in data analysis and Cryo Super Resolution Microscopy. I have always had a wide variety of interests, which have led me to learn new things and increase the spectrum of scientific work environments. At university, I developed analytical skills and learnt how to deal with complex problems in a systematic way. For my bachelor thesis I worked with an ultra-high vacuum pump to suppress a secondary plasma in a cylindrical magnetron. At my master’s degree I wrote a project work about Quantum Gravity and accomplished lectures to increase my coding skills in terms of data analysis, control and evaluation of experiments. The building of a cryostat for Cryo Fluorescence Microscopy as my master thesis increased my experience and knowledge to work at cryogenic temperatures. Besides of the hardware part of building a cryostat data mining techniques were implemented via MATLAB to analyze and interpret the measured data to create super resolution pictures. Apart of this I worked myself into coding in terms of data science with Python (predicting stocks by using machine learning algorithms and neural networks, working with tensorflow and keras, coding an automated market bot, sentiment analysis via scraping twitter data etc.) and found myself a passion in creating digital applications (Frontend and Backend). In addition to that I increased my knowledge and skills in terms of coding/deploying smart contracts and the blockchain technology. I am open to increase my knowledge and face new challenges.
