About Lukas Sullivan

Since 2017 I have worked as a quality assurance manager in the property management industry; ensuring properties of various ages and quality are maintained and properly cleaned and serviced for frequent renting. Overseeing our laundry department has encouraged me to expand my Spanish capabilities and reach out to a new culture. I have been in charge of overseeing linen and amenity orders, staffing, scheduling, inventory, and employee payroll. Working in quality assurance has shown me the perspective of the consumer in a way I never had fully understood before. In the past I was not quick to get upset or judge a product or service, I still am not, but empathize with the consumer and am able to put myself in even the most judgmental set of shoes when searching for the shortcomings in a product or service. Managing employees has been one of the most difficult but rewarding growths I have gained since beginning to oversee our laundry facility in 2019. Communicating with and providing direction to a group of workers whom I do not speak the same language as has provided me with more opportunity for growth than I have ever been presented with before. None of these tasks or responsibilities are ever too taxing to get in the way of my passions. I love the outdoors; camping, hiking, water sports, snow sports, scuba diving, walking, biking, climbing, exploring off trail, backpacking, adventure sports! Anything that brings me close to the mountains and near people who love travel and adventure. Taking vacations and traveling to new places frequently is a must for me, meeting new people and growing my network is what grows my passions. Work will never separate me from life.
