About Luke Baker

A self motivated programmer and physicist with a breadth of experience from scientific research and large-scale personal projects. I have considerable experience in software development for high speed data acquisition and quantum engineering (nanotechnology, clean room processes, cryostat design and construction). My interests span low temperature physics, quantum information science and game design. I am skilled in both free-space and cryogenic electro-optical setups and have proficiency in python and C# which I have used for the automation of complex data acquisition and analysis. My recent work involved nanosecond resolution software development with git version control using the M-Labs Artiq environment for experiments in neutral atom trapping. In my spare time I develop games using C# in Unity and build and maintain a Flask based heroku web applet.
