About Luke Barton

I’m currently the force behind two music projects out of salt lake City, Utah. Growing up in the musical world of three older siblings, music was my first language. My parents are both designers and encouraged creativity and expression through hard work. Spurred by the passing of my sister and musician, Sophie Rose, I took to the stage as a young teen honing my skills and maturing as a performer with two bands from 2010-2014. Years 18 and 19 were spent in Japan exploring faith, culture, and uncovering a newfound voice:Today I’m writing, performing, studying film at the University, and producing music under the name LUCO and have plans to release LP’s the middle of this year. I work hard in the meantime teaching guitar/songwriting, running social media accounts for businesses, and selling music to boutique websites who license music to their users. I’m setting my eyes on growing my personal business as a producer at my studio where I work with friends and local artists. I’ve worked closely with individuals for years and love interaction and collaboration. I thrive in environments where learning to master new things. Intuitive and interested. I love to chat and enjoy a friendly debate over ideas and politics with friends.
