About Luke Briscoe

A highly competent real-time data and process monitoring system analyst and system administrator, with over 19 years of experience in the information technology and process control systems. For the last 8 years, I have administered the OSIsoft PI & Honeywell Uniformance PHD databases, with a focus on high database availability and accuracy. My experience as an administrator included work not only in the oil & gas industry but also the bauxite mining and alumina processing industries. My analytical problem-solving skills have been honed with practical experience and training on Honeywell DCS, Honeywell Uniformance PHD, OSIsoft PI systems (PI AF, PI Vision, PI ACE, PI Archiver, PI Interfaces, etc), windows applications, fiber networking, etc. I am goal oriented with a proven track record in providing customer support and technical expertise for users and projects since being at Syncrude, work well within teams and also on assigned individual objectives, and is always focused on improving and maintaining the process information systems. I have taken steps to improve my abilities to lead a team, and keeping in the forefront the need to deliver tasks within schedule, budget and at the required quality by achieving an MBA with a major in Project Management.
