About Luke Castaldi

From a young age, Luke has aspired to create and push for greater world change. Innovation, Sustainability and Strategy are all exciting endeavours for him. Luke has worked hard to achieve his Bachelor of Civil Engineering with First Class Honours and his Bachelor of Creative Intelligence & Innovation at the University of Technology Sydney. Armed with both of these degrees, Luke has developed the strong belief of sharing passion and support with one another in a transdisciplinary engineering environment. He extended this with his Capstone Projects in BE with the study of “How emotions impact driving,” in which he received a nomination to the Alan Chappel Award at UTS. In 2021, Luke received a scholarship under the title “Australia Tomorrow’s Builder” with the Webuild Group, a global tier one contractor that specialises in delivering major complex infrastructure projects. Whilst completing his studies, Luke was fortunate to also undertake an internship with Webuild within their Australian bidding department and has travelled across Eastern Australia to support the company’s endeavours. Since then, Luke has been exposed to several multi-billion dollar major infrastructure tenders, each of which have refined his engineering logic, systems thinking and the communicative skills required to be a civil engineering consultant. Luke now works as a Civil Engineer with tailored experience in pre-contractual construction in strategic planning & program of works development, design management, quantity take-off & procurement. Luke continues on in this role, focussing his everyday tasks on delivering urban global client-focussed projects that will ultimately thrive as innovative sustainable landmarks.
