With over 15 years of professional experience in the field of music education and my recent role as a Whole School Music Specialist, I believe that I am well-prepared to take on responsibilities and challenges in leadership Throughout my career, my main focus has always been on providing exceptional music education to students of all ages. In my previous role as a Whole School Music Specialist, I had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, from early years to upper primary. This experience has given me a solid foundation in understanding the different learning needs and abilities of students across the age spectrum. Furthermore, my time as a Whole School Music Specialist has equipped me with the necessary skills to excel in leadership. Firstly, my strength in collaboration has been honed through working closely with other teachers across various subjects. I have successfully collaborated with classroom teachers to integrate music into the curriculum, creating rich and meaningful cross-curricular experiences for students. My strong planning skills have played a crucial role in my success as a Whole School Music Specialist.
