About Luke Ehrenberg

Growing up surrounded by trades people, it was a natural thing for me to follow that career path. As a young worker I had assisted my father with electrical work and worked alongside my grandfather carrying out extensions on the family home.I completed an apprenticeship as an auto electrician, combining and interest in electrical and a love of cars, continuing to work in the industry for another 3 odd years. While taking a short break from this trade to prepare for the good old round the country tour ( unfortunately that trip didn't happen, due to some unfortunate mechanical issues ), a short stint as a carpenter's labourer led to the completion of a carpentry apprenticeship. After 10 years on the tools, I started to look at my further growth in the industry. To aid in this I completed further study construction, completing a certificate four in building to obtain my low rise supervisor licence. This led to a move away from residential new builds into insurance assessing, repair supervision and then onto managing the assessing/estimating team for the AJ Grant Queensland branch - across insurance, private and residential works. In mid 2021, I moved across from AJ Grant to BuildProECOMM to carry on the management role for the estimating team.
