This is my my 3rd full-time season as U19 women's coach at Cercle de l'Aviron de Nantes, and my first also leading the U19 men's squad. This new challenge leading the whole junior program, is to create a synergy between squads and create a team culture that fosters well-being while developping the skills to perform in the sport of rowing at the junior level (nationally and internationally). 2024 was a another sucessfull season for the squad, retaining the title in the JW8+. The top athletes also placed in all finals (A, B and C) at national trials making the Nantes women's junior squad the most represented squad in the country at trials. The women secured 2 spots on the U17 national team, 4 at the Coupe de la Jeunesse, and 2 reached the world championships, with a historic silver at worlds in the JW4+. 2023 was a great season for the Cercle de l'Aviron de Nantes, as the club made it back to the 1st place on the national rowing performance ranking which includes points won at national championships by seniors, U23, U19 and U17 rowers. The junior women on the team did exceptionnaly well, winning the U19 eight and single for the first time in the club's history. A month later, the U17 women kept the ball rolling, also winning the eight at French nationals. 4 athletes from the group performed on the international stage, at U19 worlds, Coupe de la Jeunesse and the U17 France vs GB match.
