About Luke Ericksen

As a Cyber Security Analyst, I have a passion for protecting data and networks from threats and vulnerabilities. I have a BS in Computer and Information Science, Cybersecurity Track from ECPI University, and a CompTIA Security+ certification that demonstrate my knowledge and skills in this domain. Now at Dominion Energy, I am learning to combat the everyday threats of the corporate and public utility world. I have over a year of experience as a System Administrator I at Networking Technologies and Support, Inc, where I helped support and remediate client issues and managed projects such as firewall integrations, computer configuration, dark web monitoring, and domain/network administration. I also have a strong history of leadership training and experience, having received the Billy Mitchell Award from the U.S. Air Force, the Outstanding Youth Awards for Leadership in the Community, and the Boys State Delegate honor. I am a collaborative team player who can lead and work with diverse groups of people, ranging from five to fifty. I am also proficient in Office 365 administration, hardware, and network administration, as well as Adobe Dreamweaver CS6, which I used to create web communication solutions. My goal is to pursue a position in offensive security, where I can apply my skills and passion to protect and enhance the digital assets of organizations.
