About Luke Lackey

Each construction project requires multiple parties and services in order to complete the project in a timely and orderly fashion. It is my job as project engineer to order materials, track time, and submit pay applications to the owner (mainly NCDOT). Other common tasks that I have taken part in include running a crew, sending in submittals to the DOT, and completing takeoffs for bids. As I continue to work for E.S. Wagner I am excited to learn more about the transportation and construction industry as my role in the company continues to grow. Knowledgeable in Autocad (beginner), Revit (intermediate), and Microsoft Office (mainly Word and Excel; intermediate). Active member in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and signed up to participate in multiple competitions at the Carolina Conference in March 2016 including: Steel Bridge Design, Traffic Bowl, Concrete Canoe, and Geo-technical Competition. Active member in the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and participated in the NCSITE conference held in Raleigh in October of 2015. Actively involved in attempting to create a student chapter for Structural Engineers Associate (SEA) for UNCC.
