About Luke Lagattuta

I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate with current experience as an Assistant Project Manager at E-J Electric in the Major Projects Division. I also have previous hands-on field engineering and project management experience at Welkin Mechanical, and practical design experience as a Plumbing/Fire Protection intern at WSP. I am pursuing an M.S. in Engineering Management at UMass Amherst to strengthen my scheduling, cost-control, and leadership skills. I am fluent in Revit and AutoCAD for design modeling and in Microsoft Project, Procore, and Excel for planning and data analysis. I enjoy turning technical requirements into clear, executable plans, whether that means coordinating RFIs, submittals, and punch-lists on site or refining schedules and progress trackers in the office. My strengths include concise technical writing, proactive communication, and the ability to spot issues early so schedules and budgets stay on track. I am continuing to grow on the project management track, combining technical insight with sound business judgment to deliver reliable, high-value results.
