About Luke Lyddon
I am currently a Sports Host/Reporter for 12 News in Phoenix, Arizona. I am the co-host of the weekly show Cardinals Locker Room as well as 12 Sports tonight. I also report during the week sharing stories throughout the Valley. Prior to this stop, I was the Sports Director in Greensboro, North Carolina with WFMY News 2. I was fortunate enough to be promoted, after spending the first two years as the station’s Weekend Sports Anchor. I have also won a Mid-South Regional Emmy Award for Best Sportscast. Before coming to North Carolina, I spent 3 years with KVIA in El Paso, Texas also behind the desk as the Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter. I'm a graduate from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and continually work to serve the community across multiple platforms. There is nothing quite like a sporting event that brings everyone together whether you favor the outcome or not. My goal is to tell a story and connect with everyone at home. I pride myself on keeping my sportscasts refreshing, unique and something you haven't quite seen or heard before. Hope you enjoy.
