About Luke Marchant

Significant finance leadership experience in business partnering, FP & A, financial control, strategy, and investments across multiple sectors including manufacturing, construction, energy, and retail.Recent key results- Growth- increased margins through smart pricing- Strategic Model- developed company’s first strategic model and roadmap- Digital Transformation- leveraging Power BI and automating accounts payable and expenses- International- creation of GmbH legal entity. What really motivates me is using my end to end toolbox in thinking strategically and commercially as well as maintaining financial control to lead and support a business move forwards. I get a lot of energy from getting involved in the real heart of the business and its people. Currently I'm FD for a subsidiary of Fagerhult (one of Europe’s largest lighting manufacturing group’s) where I manage not only finance but also strategy, commercial, IT and customer service. Here I've been able to bring my broad experience from larger companies including LEGO Group, John Lewis Partnership, and EDF Energy and really impact the vision and the results of a smaller business as it grows quickly.
