About Luke Peden

Hello! My name is Luke Peden, and I am an Environmental Engineer with a special interest in Public Policy. While I most definitely learned a lot throughout my undergraduate experience at the Georgia Institute of Technology in attaining Highest Honors, I also spent a lot of time here teaching my peers about my areas of interest, officially and unofficially. I have spent my summers traveling abroad, not only gaining valuable work experience but also invaluable cultural experiences. My time abroad has taught me more than I could ever learn in a classroom and provided me with unique avenues through which I can employ my more formal education in atypical and interesting ways. Ultimately, I want to use my knowledge of engineering, sustainability, and policy in my career to improve the world and combat the biggest issue we face this century: climate change. My primary qualification for any project, job, or experience is that it lead to some impact greater than myself, and I look forward to working with people of the same mindset.
