About Luke Rands

After graduating from college in 2014, I began my internship at Johnson & Johnson. During my 1-year internship, I gained valuable experience, worked on several major projects, and conducted laboratory experiments to test the efficacy of new drugs. The skills and experience I gained at Johnson & Johnson proved to be crucial. In 2015, I joined Johnson & Johnson full-time. While continuing to work at Johnson & Johnson, I made great contributions to the company's R&D department. I worked with R&D leadership on multiple research projects involving brands such as daralumab, rivaroxaban, Prestat, and Icentri. I also worked with cross-functional teams to develop new drugs and develop successful plans for launching new products and services. In 2021, I was promoted to R&D Manager at Johnson & Johnson, leading multiple R&D projects and serving as Executive Director of Pharmaceutical Business. The focus is on developing innovative therapies to improve patients' lives. In 2022, I launched nasal sprays for the treatment of refractory depression and refractory epilepsy, as well as oral drugs for the treatment of high blood pressure, oral drugs for the treatment of multiple myeloma, injectable drugs for the treatment of cholesterol levels, and injectable drugs for the treatment of various cancers. I currently manage two R&D labs, one in New Jersey and the other in Florida.
