Omaha native, self-sufficient worker, and.NET developer. BS in Mathematics with a focus on Data Science, BA in English, and seven years of experience delivering reliable IT solutions. I have successfully written and deployed full-stack web apps using.NET, Angular, and SQL Server. Experience with developing Windows services, console apps, and ETL processes. Created numerous ETL loads between systems and engineered centralized data exchanges to keep disparate systems in sync as well as extending features of applications. Additionally, I have worked on enterprise infrastructure projects for advanced authentication, system imaging, server configuration, and certificate management. Enjoy technological leadership opportunities and am comfortable discussing and explaining concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong written and oral communication skills - I knew that BA in English would be good for something. One thing I like to do is listen. Many of the solutions I have provided come from interacting with stakeholders across different departments and identifying the common pain points they may have. By identifying issues and working with management, I have had the opportunity to manage cross-departmental projects in order to engineer proven, effective solutions that benefit the organization as a whole. I always work to stay on top of emerging technology, best practices, and software engineering strategies. I am also wary of being distracted by technologies that are new and shiny. New technologies do not fix issues with software design, but they can provide frameworks to speed development and provide consistency.
