As an experienced writer, photographer, and environmentalist, I have started a career that immerses me into a work field of which I am most passionate. After all, a career is most valuable when it is pursued with passion. When deciding what I would study before entering college, I chose communications because I love to write and talk to people. I then added on environmental studies because I have loved the outdoors since I was a child. My work experiences have brought me to places all around the world. From working at the Assignment Desk of NBC Boston to National Parks in Alaska and Maine working as both photographer and Park Ranger, I have earned experience in both communications and education in the value of the natural resources this world has to offer. As a photo journalist, my work has been published on ESPN.com, The Boston Herald, The Keene Sentinel, and also featured by environmental companies online such as the Parks Project and Acadia National Park. I have a deep understanding in modern day platforms that allow us to reach mass audiences quicker than ever. Social media such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, and so on are key components to reaching audiences across all demographics. Through connection and engagement, everyone can grow together.
