About Luke Trapski
started my adult apprenticeship at msf sugar in cairns and developed my skills as a competent fitter and turner working on lathes, mills and surface grinders. The sugar industry gave me a great understanding of all different types of mechincal equipment ranging from pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydrolic and pneaumatic systems. After been signed off early through my apprenticeship I was employed by Sibanye Stillwater to undertake the role of hydro fitter. This job has given me the opportunity to work in Australia's largest hydro mining site and a large variety of work, ranging from working on the hydro cannons, pumps, gen sets and other mobile plant equipment.
