Experienced Clinician with a considerable experience in healthcare management, medicines management. commissioning, clinical governance, software clinical safety and information governance. 25 yrs as a Doctor, 24 years of NHS management. medicines and governance roles. I now work as a portfolio clinician as a GP and as Medical Director at Lindus Health - at Lindus Health our mission is to accelerate research for the next generation of health companies. Outside of direct clinical care I have delivered in a number of roles, from Medicines Management Lead GP, TA Committee Member (NICE), LMC Committee member, Clinical Service redesign lead for PCT and SHA, PBC Consortium lead, founding GP for a GP MSO company / federation, through to lecturing and supporting service change nationally for a number of organisations. Working for UnitedHealth UK, PPCW and Optum I delivered in a number of areas, including Global Director of Governance, SME service redesign, Clinical Safety Officer, Caldecott Guardian, FTSUG, NHS Services Director of Governance, SME GP MSO / ACO development, Clinical Safety Officer. Throughout my many roles during my career, my aim is always deliver high quality care for patients, and helping drive better delivery of cost effective care for the population and this remains my driver to this day. I have just completed the first section an MBA, for which I have been awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Global) from Durham University.
