About Luke Warren

As a Senior Tutor in Further Education, I specialise in pastoral care, student development, and learner success. With over 15 years’ experience in education — from teaching and mentoring to leadership and curriculum design — I am passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential both academically and personally. In my current role, I lead on pastoral support for multiple student groups, working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure learners are supported, engaged, and on track. I focus on building strong, positive relationships, fostering independence, and equipping students with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in education and beyond. My background in teaching, mentoring, and cross-college CPD has given me a strong foundation in leadership, student engagement, and quality assurance. I am particularly motivated by creating environments where learners feel supported, valued, and able to overcome barriers to success. I’m always keen to connect with colleagues, leaders, and organisations who share a commitment to student wellbeing, progression, and educational excellence.
