About Luke Winch
I have a genuine passion for engineering, where I use my background in civil engineering design to critically evaluate emerging technologies to decarbonise the construction industry and support their deployment in our projects. My role is split into the creation of governance and systems to manage carbon in the Infrastructure business unit and championing trials and innovations to decarbonise the projects we work on. My background is predominantly in temporary works design, which I find both fascinating and challenging. In addition to a broad set of design skills, I also have a keen interest in structural engineering, which I developed studying both Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Sheffield, obtaining a Master's degree (Hons).
