About Lula Guilbert
I am a master teacher with a long record of nurturing bright, neurodiverse students who had been underserved in traditional classrooms and helping them thrive. However, after over 20 years of classroom teaching, I felt called to contribute more broadly to our society and world and want to join other changemakers who envision an educational framework where all children feel valued for their unique gifts so that we can create and support thriving children, families, and communities. I believe we have a moral obligation to create a more just and peaceful world and believe that ecology holds many keys to helping us live more happily and sustainably. I currently work part time for in the education department at the Denver Botanic Gardens while also working on a variety of writing projects.
