About Luphathe Nyathi

A humanitarian professional with over 15 years of experience in diverse contexts including post-conflict settings, working with internally displaced persons, refugees and host communities across the globe of which 7 years were spent working in the Darfur region, Sudan. I am fluent in English, Ndebele, Shona, Zulu and also some working knowledge of Arabic language. Luphathe, integrates easily into teams and priorities the values of integrity, honesty, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. His field based experience include working on: Management (leading and managing diverse teams drawn from different contexts, cultures, languages and educational levels), Monitoring (capacity building, development of tools, data analysis and report writing), Evaluation (development of TORs, recruiting and managing consultants), Accountability (leading accountability assessments and setting up the system), Learning (lead learning sessions i.e. Learning events, After Action Review and Real Time Evaluations) and development of various MEAL tools and guidance documents.
