About Luqman Rastam

I graduated with a specialization in Data Science from the Computer Science program at Multimedia University (MMU) and am now embarking on an exciting journey as an Assistant Manager in Product Development at Unifi Business, Telekom Malaysia. My academic background has equipped me with a strong foundation in data science, programming, and problem-solving, fueling my passion for leveraging technology to make a meaningful impact. Throughout my studies, I completed various impactful projects that highlight my expertise in data analysis and machine learning. I developed an advanced retail product recognition algorithm, conducted Twitter analysis on Esports brands, and led a team to create an interactive depression analysis app. Additionally, I achieved high accuracy in classifying stars using machine learning techniques and performed comprehensive data analysis on a laundry shop dataset, including humidity level prediction and model deployment. During my internship at MIMOS Berhad, I applied my knowledge in IoT systems by developing a comprehensive UWB (Ultra-Wideband) Test Plan. I conducted range and load testing of UWB technology, utilizing MQTT and the Paho MQTT Client, and employed data analysis tools like Jupyter Notebook and Python libraries to enhance system performance and support data-driven decision-making. I am honoured to be a recipient of the Yayasan Telekom Malaysia Future Leaders Scholarship Awards, reflecting my commitment to personal and academic growth. My active participation in extracurricular activities has further honed my leadership and critical thinking skills, and taught me how to thrive under pressure. I am eager to leverage my skills in my current role at Telekom Malaysia, contributing to innovative projects within a forward-thinking team and driving the development of cutting-edge products and services at Unifi Business.
