About Luther Lowry

I'm a Senior Developer at Q-Net Security, where I build web interfaces for our hardware security platforms. After almost 30 years of writing code professionally, I still get excited when I solve a tricky problem or ship something that actually makes users' lives easier.These days, I spend most of my time in the JavaScript ecosystem - Node.js backends and Vue.js frontends are my bread and butter. I've also worked extensively with PHP and MariaDB over the years, but I'm always tinkering with new frameworks and tools to see what's worth adopting.Outside of work, I'm deep into game development. I use Unity and C# to build playable prototypes, and I handle all my own art using Aseprite, Blender, and the Adobe suite. It's a nice creative outlet that keeps my problem-solving skills sharp in a different way.What I love most about development is that collaboration moment when you're working with someone who just gets it, and you end up building something neither of you could've done alone.
