About Luv Tomar

I'm a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Carleton University. I began my journey and career as a software developer back in 2018, when I became fascinated with machine learning and data science. As a part of the learning process, I worked on multiple tasks and freelance projects with a focus on implementing data science. A lot of this experience involved developing websites and apps, which prompted me to learn about and get experience in various development frameworks and technologies, from Microsoft Azure to AWS, from C# Windows forms to React Website and React Native phone apps, from SQL Server/MySQL to PostgreSQL, etc. By the end of 2020, my experience was enough to land me my first Junior Software Development job, where I gained further experience in skills I already had. In addition to that, my first and current job has given me experience in working with a full IT team, and so, experience in using repository technologies like Git. Other new technologies I've learned how to and regularly use include running/maintaining Docker containers, Ubuntu and Fedora servers and running ETL operations using Apache Nifi.
