I am an Internal Auditing graduate of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology as well as the University of South Africa. I completed my diploma at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology at the end of 2019, I then furthered my studies at the University of South Africa where I completed my Advanced Diploma in Accounting sciences majoring in Internal Auditing at the end of 2021. I have an extensive experience and knowledge in Asset Management and Supply Chain Management. I received my Supply Management experience while working at the Department of Forestry Fisheries and the Environment, which started in 2020 until 2022. My accounting work is guided and governed by GAAP, IFRS, and the PFMA and I have gained bookkeeping experience as a junior accountant where I am responsible for the processing of cashbooks and posting them on a monthly basis, Payroll, processing of creditors and doing monthly debtors as well as creditors reconciliations, making daily and monthly payments as well as Invoicing. I was also tasked with the responsibility of safeguarding the assets within the Department. My duties are to ensure that the Asset Register is updated regularly with all the additions, movements and disposals. I facilitate the acquisition of assets, disposals, movements throughout the Department including the regions (Eastern Cape, KwaZulu Natal, Northern Cape & Western Cape). I have to ensure that everything is done in according to the Departmental policies and prescripts set by National Treasury. I am a highly competent, motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience in accounting. I have exceptional multi-tasking skills, ability to work both independently of own initiative or as part of a successful team demonstrating the motivation and problem solving abilities required to meet demanding deadlines while maintaining the highest of standards. Even under significant pressure I possess a strong ability to perform effectively. My professional approach and eagerness to learn and develop allows me to adapt well to a new working environment and therefore, enables me to maintain focus when faced with challenges head on.
