Bienvenue!Je suis Lya, présentement Spécialiste en recherche clinique chez Lallemand Solutions Santé Inc. Mon rôle consiste à coordonner différentes études cliniques étudiant les différents bénéfices des probiotiques. Par le passé, j’ai effectué ma maîtrise dans le laboratoire du Pr. Jean-Philippe Côté à l'Université de Sherbrooke. Mon projet portais sur la caractérisation d'interactions entre le pathogène Salmonella Typhimurium et les souches du microbiote humain. Je suis une personne très passionnée par la recherche en sciences et j'ai également un très grand intérêt pour le développement de nouvelles thérapies antibiotiques, d’où mon intérêt pour mon travail chez LHS. Je suis un personne avec qui il est facile de communiquer et j'ai toujours le désir d'en apprendre plus. My role is to manage different clinical studies that have the goal to demonstrate beneficial effects of probiotics. Previously, I completed my master's degree in Pr. Jean-Philippe Côté's lab at the Université de Sherbrooke. My project concerned the characterization of the possible interbacterial interactions between the pathogen Salmonella Typhimurium and other strains from the human gut microbiota. I am very passionate about scientific research and I also have great interest for the developement of new antibiotic therapies, which I am able to look into in my current position.
