About Lyane Maltez

In 2020, I decided to change careers and pursue Systems Analysis and Development. The technological field has always fascinated me. That's why I took the initiative, enrolled in a university, and immersed myself in this new world to absorb as much technical knowledge as possible. From 2021 to 2023, I was a mentor at Carioca University, sharing my knowledge with other students. In 2023, I graduated from Carioca University with one of the highest GPAs in the Exact Sciences courses. This achievement earned me an MBA scholarship in Technology from Carioca University. I have been in contact with OutSystems since 2020, starting as a trainee in the Matrix Project. I have been working professionally as an OutSystems developer since 2021 through Truewind Company. I am currently 3 times OutSystems certified. My previous training in Dentistry allowed me to develop the following interpersonal skills, which I consider fundamental for the success of a systems developer: 1) Empathy, objectivity, good perception, and good communication with the client (patient) to understand their problems and seek optimized solutions to help them. 2) Professional ethics. 3) Dealing with the public and their different personalities, gaining sympathy and trust. 4) Responsibility, punctuality, assiduity, commitment, and concentration, as I have always dealt with lives. 5) Being meticulous in each job performed. 6) Knowing how to work in a team. I have participated in health promotion programs and collective actions. 7) Maintaining self-control and logical (clinical) reasoning under pressure and adverse situations. 8) Keeping up to date with knowledge. Science, as well as technology, is constantly changing. I have dual citizenship: Brazilian and Italian. Regarding idioms, I have: 1) Advanced English level: IELTS Certificate (level C1 - effective and advanced). I continue to take weekly English classes. 2) Basic German level: German course in 2006 at Paderborn University. I have always enjoyed challenges and I see them as opportunities to grow professionally and as a person.
