About Lydia Bell

Hello! I am a psychotherapist at Intuitive Healing in Manhattan. I work with adults and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, and people who just want to give therapy a try. If you're not sure if therapy is the right fit for you, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to offer a 15 minute consultation to give you a sense of what you can expect. I like to think of the therapy room as a creative space for you to explore your sense of self and imagine possibilities. I see my role as a guide and as a collaborator; someone who can deeply listen, track connections, and be a witness to difficult emotions. I work from a psychodynamic perspective, meaning that I help you consider how past experiences might be impacting your life now. I also consider cultural/social factors and make sure that race, gender, sexuality, and other formative identities have space in our work together. I see clients in-person at Intuitive Healing's beautiful NYC offices near Herald Square and I have some remote availability, as well. Please get in touch to learn more!
