About Lydia Gray

Harking originally from a design background, I worked my way up the ladder in both production and design, mainly within two key agencies, making me a good choice for a fully rounded approach to production. I have years of varied international experience working on all aspects and all scales of events be they public, private, or corporate. More recently I have worked on large scale projects with an agency that is proactive in pushing sustainable solutions and assisting clients in moving forwards with more sustainable events. Here I expanded my understanding and knowledge of how to produce more sustainable events and realistic routes of achieving this. Recently I worked as production sustainability for a large Netflix film shoot. My production and design work has included large, complex, and immersive events, with both long and short term timelines and event goals. Some examples include Relay for Life in the UAE for public participants, the preparation of an A300 airplane for the Airbus museum, and the holiday celebrations for employees from DeepMind. I have worked in some exceptional venues and locations, from Catherine Palace near St Petersburg to the Mexican jungle, to the top of the Alps. I am skilled in the analysis of venue use, with an ability to see solutions. I also can put my imaginative side to good use when incorporating and adapting existing and hired assets to advantage and see this as one of the more sustainable practices in events. As much as I enjoy managing multiple teams, I am equally not shy about diving in and helping to bring things up to speed if the going gets tough. I am a true team player who is extremely comfortable in the lead role. I am calm and focused, and able to keep a level head in a storm.
