Budding scientist in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology, with a particular interest in molecular oncology. Currently investigating PRMT5 as a novel therapeutic target for the treatment of melanoma; a passion project encompassing both translational research and basic cell biology. Extensive training and experience in molecular biology techniques and tissue culture, which has led to the success of two high-throughput CRISPR/CAS9 drug screens in this project. Skillset includes mice handling and bioinformatics experience in genomic and transcriptomic analysis using R. Outside the lab bench, I find fulfilment in teaching and inspiring the next generation of scientists.
