About Lydia Lim

Lydia is a PEAKS People Analytics & Management Consultant with Research Communication International. With over 20 years of experience in Organisational, Corporate, Educational and Developmental Therapeutic domains, Lydia holds a Master of Social Science in Counselling (University of South Australia), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Massey University, NZ). As a PEAKS Master-Trainer & Supervisor to PEAKS Consultants, Lydia strives to constantly adapt & apply the PEAKS People Analytics & Profiling Technology across vast spectrums of Professional, Educational & Personal domains for positive impact on lives & communities. Lydia upholds the belief that it is critical to move beyond theoretical & traditional paradigms to constantly evolve & improve professional & industry-relevant best practices that are culture specific & contextually relevant to individuals, organisations & communities. Lydia has trained leaders at all levels across industries, locally & regionally. These include Corporate, MNCs, SMEs, government bodies, educational institutions & social communities. She regularly conducts programs in the areas of Leadership, Corporate & Professional Coaching & Mentoring, Strategic Planning & Development, HR Deployment, Career Development, Counselling & Supervision, Marriage-Family Therapy & Life Coaching, etc. Lydia's professional experiences are steeped in Clinical Practice, Training & Supervision of Counsellors. She was the Clinical Director, Supervisor & Lecturer for a MA Counselling program, where she directed & developed courses on Human Development, Counselling Skills & Practice and Clinical Practicum & Ethics. Lydia was also an educational psychologist and developmental therapist at a Developmental Clinic for children & families, and a mental health counsellor at the Mount Elizabeth Behavioural Charter. A Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling, Lydia served as the Hon. Secretary of the Executive Committee (2008 – 2012) and has been newly appointed as Asst. Hon. Treasurer in 2020. An enthusiast in community outreach, Lydia champions the belief that children, youth & young adults be given the specialised resources to discover their natural potential, in order to establish their pride of place in the society of their choice - to maximise potential and value add. An active participating contributor to society, Lydia has always been passionate and availed herself in areas of Counselling, Children-Teen Development, Mentoring for Marriage & Parenting and Social Engagement efforts such as public seminars and radio interviews.
