About Lydia M.

Art Director & Senior Designer with 13+ years shaping brand identity, campaigns, and illustration that connect with modern audiences. I combine hands-on design mastery with the ability to set visual direction, mentor creatives, and deliver production-ready work across digital, print, and product.I bring a hybrid creative background across illustration, design, and brand storytelling. Blending an animator’s sense of movement, a designer’s precision, and a director’s eye for narrative cohesion. I thrive in environments that value creative autonomy, emotional intelligence, and innovation. Where visuals aren’t just seen, but felt.Previously: As an Art Director & Illustrator I led brand refreshes, award-winning advertising campaigns (2021 TCIA Marketing Award), and multi-channel marketing assets, from logos and packaging to digital ads and social content.Currently: At Embroidery Library / Urban Threads I create trend-driven illustrations and digitized embroidery designs, partner with marketing to modernize a legacy craft brand, and advise on campaigns that reach new, younger audiences.Core strengths: Art Direction • Creative Strategy • Branding & Logo Systems • Campaign Development • Illustration & Surface Pattern • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) • Team Collaboration & Mentorship • Digital + Print Marketing.
