About Lydia Sandoval

My current position at Cooperative Education Support Services (CES) is developing virtual training power points and presenting live on Zoom across 89 school districts in New Mexico. I present on the following topics, Trauma-Informed Practice, Social-Emotional Learning, and Applied Behavior Analysis. Before the Pandemic, I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for Autism Learning Partners. I worked 1:1 with children on the Spectrum practicing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) skills. Approximately 6 months prior to working as an RBT I worked for Alta Mira Family Services, I was Alta Mira's Early Learning Center Director, my duties included, continuous professional development with staff, daily operation of the center, designed lesson plans, and helped develop procedures and policies for Alta Mira Preschool. I also had the opportunity to complete UNM supervised hours for my ABA Certification on the use of Applied Behavior Analysis in this setting, This included positive supports for staff and students early childhood experiences. I worked in the community to grow our program and connect with the community.
