About Lydia Schoonmaker

I am a Certified Pharmacy Technician that has worked Retail Pharmacy for 5 years and Mail Order Pharmacy for 1 year. My years in retail taught me how to effectively multitask (answering the phone while aiding a cashier or typing an urgent prescription), I learned how to type at data entry effectively while making minimal mistakes, although had no issue reaching out to a pharmacist if I didn't understand a script, and tackled the challenge of monthly packaging to the specific needs of the patients whether it be changing medications or simply adding a vitamin. I am a prompt worker, on time to me means 10 minutes early, even as I work remotely, I am logged on and getting ready for work early. I am a flexible worker, working shifts from 7am-3pm - 9am-6pm - 8am-4:30pm and 11am-8pm, and my time in retail caused me to work weekends as well. I am a team player and happy to help out, stay late or pick up shifts when needed. My pharmacy education is important to me, and I would like to progress it in the future.
