By a great stroke of luck, I "fell" into HR. I was encouraged to handle health & safety issues, the screening process, training new employees, initiating orientation & taking care of employee inquiries in Compensation & Benefts. To my surprise, I realized that numbers are our friends so I was entrusted to forecast, budget & provide analysis of expenditues & cost saving measures. This culminated into many years of successful project work and mananging multiple projects. As my expansion into HR grew, I decided to enhance my education & recieved my CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation. My adventure in Health & Wellbeing expanded my Disability Management / Health & Safety knowledge as well encouraged me to flourish in Wellness initiatives, Benefits & Employee Engagement. This position leveraged my achievements, skills, energy, and talent. My genuine passion & care for people lead me to my certifications in Human Rights & Diversity, Mental Health First Aid & Canadian Benefits.
