Background

About Lydia vander Ark

As a chemistry and biology student at Taylor University, I have aspirations to work in the forensic or chemistry industry. Internships with the Illinois State Police and Kent State University have assisted in developing my problem-solving skills and provided me with research experience that makes me an asset to any team. Experience working in the instrument lab at my university, running weekly quality controls, makes me knowledgeable in laboratory techniques and proficient in using various instruments for analytical purposes. I look forward to applying this in my future career. My leadership experience as president of the Women's Lacrosse Club and working for the Taylor University Admissions Office has molded me to become a well-rounded leader. I'm eager to apply my knowledge and skills in a life-giving and exciting career in the field of chemistry.
