Hi! I’m Lydia. I am a technical writer,* editor, and digital communications specialist based in the Midwest. I enjoy opportunities and projects where I can use my skills to communicate with diverse audiences. My background of 10+ years spans a variety of areas: grant writing, software documentation, social media management, digital publishing, content writing, editing, technical communication, and web development. I enjoy exploring new topics, diving deeply into the voice of an organization, and making connections with people. Most of my free time is dedicated to volunteering as the digital communications coordinator at the Appalachian Prison Book Project (APBP),** through which I speak and write about mass incarceration in the United States and the life-changing power of books and education for people on the inside.
